Fog
Fog was composed throughout most of 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, as a result of overwhelming stress from the pandemic, I struggled with brain fog (so terribly that I originally forgot how I composed this piece while orchestrating the initial sketches). Brain fog is described as a range of symptoms including forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, and confusion. It is often caused by factors such as stress, lack of sleep, anxiety, and depression.
Fog, performed and premiered by the Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra. Conducted by Tomás García Dueñas.
