Social Music is a piece for eight performers with smartphones. Envisioned as a modern reimagining of John Cage’s Radio Music, each performer scrolls through their social media app of choice’s short video feed. This consequently allows for a mesh of different genres and styles of short videos to be put on display in an auditory experience.
